CANVAS: Community Arts Festival
Taking place from Thursday 10 April – Tuesday 6 May in partnership with Leeds Art University, CANVAS is a month-long celebration of art and community. There’s something for everyone, student art work, a paint by numbers canvas, creative workshops for all ages, an art trail and art fair.

The Big Green Get Together
10 June, 12pm – 2pm, Tower Square
It’s Big Green Week so head to Tower Square at Wellington Place for stalls from local sustainable businesses as well as local company the Repair Cafe – who attempt to repair most things, and usually have expert fixers of clothes, jewellery, appliances, electronics and computers!

Quiz night
Quizzers get ready… The Wellington Place quiz night at Mad Frans takes place on the first and last Wednesday of every month at 6pm. Grab your friends and colleagues, decide on a catchy team name and get ready to go head-to-head against the other competitors.

So Choir
A friendly choir for everyone to enjoy! Do you enjoy singing in the shower or crooning along in the car? Then you need to join the Wellington Place Choir! The Choir is open to all, singers and non-singers alike – even if you don’t work at Wellington Place!

Wagon Lifting Hoist Mini Museum
Take a wonder around the Grade II listed wagon lifting hoist which has been restored and turned into a mini museum. Exhibiting artefacts spanning the history of Leeds Central Station, this is a must visit attraction in Leeds.

Street Food in the Square
The last Thursday of every month sees some of the best street food Leeds has to offer in Tower Square at Wellington Place. Served between 12-2pm, there’s a range of delicious, freshly made dishes.
Summer in the Square
From May onwards, the last Thursday of the month will also see the return of Summer in the Square. There’s not only great street food on offer, but market stalls, live music and some great drop-in workshops.

Book Club
The Wellington Place Book Club is an opportunity to get together, discover new reads, share ideas and opinions, as well having a general chit chat. Each month we select a new book to read and discuss what we liked/disliked about it in our monthly meetings.
The book club will take place on the first Tuesday of every month and is free to attend and open to all. We just ask you to sign up here so we know how many people to book a table for!
