We really appreciate the time you spent completing the survey, and we’d like to share some of the results with you.
875 of you have provided valuable feedback on how we can continue to make Wellington Place a great place to work, dine and enjoy!
Results
A whopping 95.77% of respondents said they would recommend working at Wellington Place to others.
95.98% said you felt ‘Safe’ or ‘Very Safe’ at Wellington Place, with 93.35% rating the reception staff as ‘Friendly’ or ‘Very Friendly.
Events
Our top three most popular events were Street Food in the Square, Markets and Light Night. We will continue to offer a great range of events throughout 2023, and will be involved in exciting city-wide events too!
94.70% rated the range of events as ‘Good’ or ‘Very Good’, with 84.91% of respondents believing that the events contribute to a positive work-life balance.
The main reason for not being able to attend events was ‘Timings don’t work’. So, we will run events at different times of the day, including before work, at lunch and after work, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to join if they wish.
We currently run two working groups where we welcome all occupiers to share best practices and event ideas themed around inclusivity and diversity, and also sustainability. Why not join us and share your ideas? Click here to find out more or sign up to our next meeting.
Amenities
Some people were unaware of the amenities we have on site. Our table tennis, fussball and free bike hire are located behind 1 Wellington Place and we understand that the hoardings around 11 & 12 Wellington Place may have made this area more difficult to find. The works are nearing completion so there will be a clearer pathway to these amenities from Tower Square in spring. We are also installing new outdoor exercise machines.

Throughout the survey, we received some common questions that we thought would be helpful to answer…
“What happened to the hairdryers and straighteners in the changing rooms?”
These are still available for you to borrow from the main building receptions. Just ask the security team at the front desk.
“Can smokers and vapers please stand away from the building entrances?”
We are installing no smoking signs outside the buildings, which will offer directions to the nearest smoking shelter.
“Any plans for an outdoor gym and leisure area?”
A brand new selection of outdoor gym equipment will be installed around 11 & 12 Wellington Place and will be ready to use in the spring.
“Are there any indoor group exercise classes? I don’t feel comfortable doing them outside”
We have a range of fitness classes for you to choose from, from morning yoga and lunchtime Tai Chi to after work Zumba. All are free for occupiers and take place in the comfort of Wellington Central.
“I didn’t know Wellington Place ran so many events, where can I find out more?”
You can sign up for our Parklife e-newsletter to receive monthly emails listing all upcoming events, giveaways, blogs and news.
You can also pick up a free newspaper from any of the buildings’ main receptions, download our app, check out the events board outside Wellington Central or follow us on social media. We’re on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, YouTube and Tik Tok!
“Any chance of a regular quiz night at Wellington Place?”
Our new quiz night takes place on the first Wednesday of the month, 6pm at Mad Frans. It’s free entry and if you’re on top form there’s a £50 bar tab PLUS a £50 donation to a charity of your choice”.
“I love the free bike servicing, any more planned?”
Yes, we have more free bike servicing sessions for occupiers throughout 2023. You can check for upcoming visits here.
“Is there an on-site water refill station?”
There sure is. Grab your bottle and fill it up at our Hydration Station, located between Veeno and 4 Wellington Place.
“It would be nice to have an I&D group for those who work at Wellington Place”

It’s already back! Our Little Free Library in Tower Square is open for everyone to use. Donate a book and find a new favourite.
