Bike Facilities at Wellington Place
Wellington Place is well connected for cyclists – we are surrounded by fantastic cycle routes in and out of the city centre (including the Bradford Leeds Cycle Superhighway and the canal towpath). What’s more, we offer fantastic on-site facilities to help you on your way.
Bike Parking
We have lots of available bike parking located around Wellington Place for our occupiers and visitors.
You will often be able to park your bike close to the building you are visiting, with CyclePods available behind 1 and 2 Wellington Place (what3words: bunny.logs.people), and bike racks available in between 3 and 10 Wellington Place, 5 and 6 Wellington Place.
Most buildings at Wellington Place have basement parking available for occupiers to use (buildings 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11 and 12). If you work at 1 or 10 Wellington Place you can use any of the external parking areas across the estate.
Bike Repair Station
The outdoor bike repair station is located within the bike storage area behind 1 and 2 Wellington Place (what3words: bunny.logs.people). The bike repair station includes a pump and the following tools: Phillips and standard screwdrivers; Steel core tire levers; Headset/pedal wrench; 8/10mm cone wrench; 9/11mm cone wrench; Torx T-25; Hex key set.
There are also extra bike repair stations for occupiers to use in the basements of 3, 5, 7, 8, 11 and 12 Wellington Place. Please contact security at security@wellingtonplace.co.uk for access to these.
Free Bike Servicing Sessions*
We regularly run free bike servicing sessions in Tower Square with experts from Woodrup Cycles. Sessions include a full bike assessment and any basic repairs such as gear adjustment, inflation of tyres, wheel truing, bike oiling and more. Upcoming dates can be found here.
Free Bike Hire*
There are seven bikes, including an electric bike, which can be hired by Wellington Place occupiers for free using the App-Bike app. These are located in the bike storage units behind 1 Wellington Place. Bikes can be reserved up to three hours prior to use or you can hire them immediately. Full details on how to hire can be found here or on the bikes themselves.

Free D-Lock Hire*
If you work at Wellington Place you can hire a D-lock for free by calling our security office on 07841969328.
Free Helmet Hire*
If you work at Wellington Place, you can borrow a helmet for free. Each company has been allocated two helmets – please contact your office manager or company reception to hire.
