Come along, it’s okay to talk
On Thursday 16 June between 1-2pm, we’re delighted to welcome Andy’s Man Club to Wellington Central for a pop-up session covering all things men’s mental health. The event is open to all and free to attend. Refreshments will be provided but you’re also welcome to bring lunch along to the session with you.
Andy’s Man Club is a talking group with over 100 locations across the UK. The charity provides a space for men to come together and open up about their mental health in a safe, judgement-free and welcoming environment. Their service is used on a weekly basis by over 1,700 men across the country, supported by an army of 500 volunteers.
This meet-up gives you the chance to learn about the club – how it started, the work they do, upcoming events and how it has helped many people with their struggles. You’ll discover how you can get involved, as well as be able to share your experiences if you wish to do so. The session will finish with a Q&A session to answer any burning questions you may have.
