We are proud to be supporting The Hygiene Bank in Leeds by becoming a drop-off point for much needed essential hygiene items.
Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personnel grooming products most of us take for granted, like shampoo, laundry detergent, tampons, nappies or toothpaste. A staggering 4.2 million adults in the UK are living in hygiene poverty and cannot afford to stay clean.
The items we collect at Wellington Place are collected by a small team of volunteers who distribute them to those most in need across the city. They desperately need items for men including, dental care, deodorant and shower gel but if you come into Wellington Central, you’ll see a list of items that you can donate.
If you’d like to donate, please visit us at 6 Wellington Place where you’ll find the drop-off point. We know the Leeds Hygiene Bank will appreciate your generosity.
