Design for Performance
11 & 12 Wellington Place has been enrolled as a Design for Performance (DfP) Pioneer project.
The DfP initiative aims to change the way new office developments are designed in the UK, with a focus on minimising energy consumption in operation. The DfP initiative builds on the work of the world leading NABERS scheme which has seen a 36% improvement in the energy intensity of landlords’ systems in Australia since 1999*. The scheme focuses on addressing the performance gap between the assumed energy consumption at design stage and actual consumption in operation.
As a Pioneer project, 11&12 Wellington Place will implement the DfP approach and support the overall programme.
