How we do what we do matters
Social impact at Wellington Place doesn’t sit on the edges of what we do. It’s built into the way the neighbourhood is designed, managed and experienced, shaping how people connect with the place and with each other every day.
Our approach to social impact is grounded in long-term stewardship. It means being thoughtful, holistic and human in how we shape Wellington Place. Through this, we invest in the long-term wellbeing of people, businesses and the wider community.
We organise our activity around three pillars:
A Shared Future
Creating opportunities for people to learn, grow and build skills
Local Connections
Strengthening relationships, culture and community
The Living City
Acting responsibly within the urban environment and encouraging others to do the same
Opening doors to opportunity beyond our own community has been a central focus. Inspired, our school engagement programme delivered with Ahead Partnership, continues to play a vital role in this work. Designed to raise aspirations, increase access to relatable role models and nurture a sense of belonging within modern workplaces, the programme reached a significant milestone this year, engaging more than 1,000 students since launch.
