Plogging with the Pacers 27/3

Fri, 27 Mar 2020

Following the advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and other official local agencies, we have made the decision to postpone this event.

As part of the Clean Leeds initiative, the Wellington Pacers running club has volunteered to do plogging on the 27th March 12.15pm – 1.15pm.

Plogging is a combination of jogging and picking up litter, and is a simple and effective way to do your bit for the environment and help clean the streets of Leeds on your walk, jog or run!

All litter picking equipment and bin bags will be provided, and we’ll meet at The Pacers meeting point, on the 4 Wellington Place hoardings opposite Sociable Folk. The plogging will take us around the Armley Gyratory footpaths, a nice, easy distance from Wellington Place.

Anyone who works at Wellington Place is welcome to join, you don’t have to be a member of the Wellington Pacers. Open to all abilities and walkers are welcome.
