The 1st of May 2019 will mark 52 years since the Leeds Central Station closed, the wagon lifting hoist in Tower Square is all that now remains of this once busy station.
To celebrate the heritage of Wellington Place, we will be running a History Week from the 1st – 8th of May. During the week there will be plenty of fascinating facts and photos shared across our social media sites.
We will also be running a guided history walk on the 1st of May 12.15pm – 1pm, offering you the chance to step back in time and learn the history of the site and it’s surrounding areas.
There will also be a history talk on the 2nd of May 1pm – 2pm, for you to come along to and discover some interesting facts.
Spaces are limited on both events and are exclusive to Wellington Place occupiers only.
